Reminder: Attendance Required – Learning Activities Continue Until June 10
A reminder to families that attendance in all scheduled classes is required until June 10. Learning activities will continue with the understanding that students are present and engaged until that time. Unfortunately, a conflict that occurred in the community on Tuesday afternoon was exasperated when a group of students who were not in class, decided to gather off-campus rather than attend their regularly scheduled classes. We ask families to reiterate the importance of continuing to attend classes during regular school days until the official end of the semester.
Food Truck Friday
On Friday June 6, Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School will be hosting a fleet of food trucks during the school day in the student parking lot. Teachers will bring their classes down at various times during the school day to enjoy delicious foods. A confirmed list of food trucks will be posted on the school website in the days leading up to the event. Please note: the student parking lot will be closed for the entire day on Friday June 6.
Upcoming Closures
On Friday June 6, the student parking lot will be closed for Food Truck Friday. Students are asked to find alternative methods of transportation or to park in the community as the entire student parking lot will be unavailable.
Next week (June 2 - 6) is the last week that the Craven Cafe will be open. Please plan to send your students with an alternate plan for food for Monday June 9 and Tuesday June 10.
The Nest (school store) will be open until Tuesday, June 10.
JCS Parent Council AGM
The JCS Parent Council/Fundraising Society will have their AGM coming up on June 12 at 7:00pm at the school. Please watch the website for more information.

All Timesheets and a final Year End Evaluation are due on June 10.
