Unique Pathways Information and Applications
Through CBE Unique Pathways, students can explore career interests, experience post-secondary learning, and earn post-secondary credits in some programs, all while still in high school! Parents and interested students are encouraged to register for and attend the Fall Unique Pathways Information Night on Tuesday October 6, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Career and Technology Centre (2336 - 53 Ave SW).
Applications for Semester 2 programs open October 5, 2026 and must be submitted by November 20, 2026. Please email JCS’s Off-Campus Coordinator Russell Gelfand with questions or to submit an application.
Parent Volunteers at JCS
JCS is happy to welcome parent volunteers in the school, on field trips and with certain tasks at school. Certain activities or field trips would not be possible without the active participation of parent volunteers! All adult volunteers require a valid security clearance - no exceptions.
Each school year, parents must complete the CBE Volunteer Registration form through MyCBE by clicking on the Online Forms and School Registration tab and completing the form. For more details on the next steps, please see the CBE Volunteer page.
Jostens Graduation Sales
Jostens will be in the school Monday, October 5 to preview the school rings, jewelry and clothing available to order for graduates. Orders will begin on Wednesday and Thursday, October 13&14.

Bookings via CBE MySchoolConferences open on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00am and close on Friday, October 16 at 11:00am to allow teachers to prepare. Parents are reminded to check PowerSchool for current grades and attendance to determine if a conference is required.
