CBE Language Challenge 

The CBE Languages Department will once again be offering a course challenge opportunity for French and International Languages. All applications are due to the JCS Main Office by 3:30pm on Friday, October 11. Click here for more information.  

Non-Instructional Day 

Friday, September 27 is a non-instructional day and there is no school for students. Monday September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and the school is closed. 

Lifetouch Photo Orders 

There was a delay in the processing of the photo proofs. Lifetouch will have the proofs to the school shortly and then families can place their order. If your student missed any of the photo days or needs retakes, the retake day is October 16. 

JCS School Apparel 

The order deadline for all JCS Spirit Wear is September 29. Get your orders through this link.  

Music Department - Hutterite Chicken Fundraiser 

Music students are currently busy selling Hutterite chickens! Please help support our music students in fundraising for festivals, tours, and other learning opportunities. Chickens are $25 from any music student or Ms. Scott or Ms. Wood. The order deadline is September 27 and pick up will be on October 11. Thank you for supporting our music program!  

Music Hoodies 

Any students wishing to purchase a music hoodie can do so by talking to Ms. Scott or Ms. Wood or checking out the poster outside of the band room. The order deadline is September 27.  

Information from the Student Success Centre 

Every student at JCS is enrolled in the Student Success Centre (SSC) D2L shell. Lots of valuable information will be posted there. Students are encouraged to log in and keep up to date with the available information regarding post-secondary applications, university open houses, and scholarships. Students should also review the D2L monthly calendar where various upcoming post-secondary events will be posted.   

JCS is fortunate to host two Post-Secondary Fairs in October. Dates and times will post closer to the start of October. 

Graduation 2025 

The Graduation date has been set: May 15, 2025, at BMO Centre. Mark your calendars!
